Bluefaced Leicester
The Bluefaced Leicester is an English Longwool, originating near Hexham in the early 1900s. The wool is classed as demi-lustre and is the finest of the British wools, commanding the highest price from the Wool Marketing Board.

Bluefaced Leicester felts quickly and easily to a smooth, almost silky finish. The most popular of the British breeds for feltmaking.
