Zwartbles
A Dutch breed introduced to the UK in the 1980s. It produces a medium to fine fleece in subtle range of browns from almost black to chocolate.

For felting:
Zwartbles is becoming increasingly popular with Feltmakers. It doesn’t felt as quickly as some, but does produce a good firm felt.
